No possible way any of us can answer your question, you need to talk to "him" and as soemone else has said these things are far better dealt with privately. Good luck

I have come across people who will never trust anyone, its usually due to their experiences in life and nothing and no one can change their outlook. I have also come across controlling people who use lack of trust as an excuse to exert control over their partner and people who have such low self esteem that they can't see why their partner is with them and imagine everyone their partner meets is so much better than them that it is only a matter of time before they realise this and run off with them. There are also the people who can't be trusted themselves and project that on to everyone else.

I tend to trust almost everyone but I've been lucky and have had very little reason not to in my time

Some people genuinely struggle with trusting anybody even if they had no reason to be untrusting, others find it easy to trust even though they may have had their trust broken in the past.

A lot depends on a person feeling secure in themself, having a healthy self esteem and the courage to take the risk that trust may be broken.

I believe that in order to trust somebody you have to like and accept and trust yourself first.

Airing private issues such as this can be foolhardy on a public forum, unless its a piss take thread?

"Airing private issues such as this can be foolhardy on a public forum, unless its a piss take thread?"

Or it may be a geniune need for some input from helpful people with other points of _iew, opinions or answers to a particular problem...

Personally.... I find that people who do not trust may have insecurity issues.....

I think trust is a priviledge enjoyed and not a mandatory right. I think that you need to earn this and also demonstrate clear and unquestionable transparency to a partner in order to enjoy that priviledge.

I think your issue is also private and best not aired in public in detail as has already been said. I also appreciate that you may be looking for an answer on the forum that may guide or re-inforce what you already may believe - so it's a 50/50 thing with a goodly measure of issue ambiguity when it comes to posting an answer to this original post.

Good luck

Wolf
