As a couple it's easier for a 3/4 way conversation but still happy to chat here.

This, plus depending on where I am its easier on something like telegram etc than having fab open

Several reasons, though only if we're considering a meet.

Instant notifications, also means we don't have to keep logging in here to check messages and therefore attracting more.

Easier to respond to a message in public than to open up fab.

I am wary by nature. I had one "couple" who were going to make my dreams come true, apparently. Damn, but they looked good. (Or someone who had no idea who I was looked good). It was all I could do to stop myself sending them my bank details.

There is something odd about it. You attract someone on this site and then immediately want to take them to another site. Weird, and probably wasting time. Although, I don't consider fantasy about sex a waste!

The chat function on here is a relic, like using something from the early 2000s. Having something instant, able to send media, encrypted, multiple recipients, even emoji etc is important. Like being confused why they don't just fax each other

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

There are a multitude of reasons I like to chat off fab. One being privacy. Another is that if I decide I want a break, I don't have to stop talking to people I want to talk to.

Also there is the fact that I can ignore my inbox on here for days or weeks but if I'm having to pop into it for a chat with a friend I see the yellow and I run away.

Plus voice notes.

Plus the drool emoji.

Plus stickers on telegram.

Gifs.

Phone calls.

Video calls (I don't do that).

Notifications.

You can carry on a conversation without coming online here and getting told you're ignoring someone because "you had time for fab".

And a load more reasons probably.

I've made some real life friends here - I've got a friend or two where I've had some Big Life video calls. Totally not possible with the messaging function here.

Even if it's not about video clips, impromptu pictures, etc.

Anyone can do what they like, though, and there are certainly some conversations I keep on Fab.

I've had conversations with Fabbers off Fab that, if they happened on Fab, would break Fab rules.

But not like, "I'm using my connection on Fab to do things that Fab doesn't allow". More "I'm having a conversation with my friend which are limited or banned on a site of this nature"

Some I want the sex with

Some I don't want the sex with

Some I simply enjoy their company, virtual or otherwise.

Some I tolerate but have a mutual bond with

Connections often expand beyond simply wanting to fuck.

The reason we prefer it all on Fab, is safety first and second there are so many 3rd party messaging apps. Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, Kik, Snapchat, Signal, Discord, Wechat, Line, Viber.

No, no, no.

Ones where our real phone number is shown are an automatic no, others are just full of ads or bots.

We have couples we are real long time friends with, who we may swap WhatsApp with, but not some randoms I've never met.

"Why have you asked the question if you're just going to dismiss the answers you've been given?

Not dimissing but not accepting any weird moonlighting stuff either.

You're being very dismissive and not actually accepting any answer you've been given

Nope. Just disagreeing!"

"There are a multitude of reasons I like to chat off fab.

Maybe...but still not a reason to leave the site you post on.

When I had my message filters open, I would get a lot of crap for being on Fab and not dealing with my inbox. I think there's a gender disparity there

I've switched off all notifications. I often miss emails and messages and I don't care. Debating if I should get a dumb phone, but I do love access to the interweb.

I don't get Fab notifications. But I'd log in and find people getting angry that I didn't answer their message in a timely manner.

I don't owe people anything, but if I'm on Whatsapp or Telegram or whatever, I don't get that abuse."

I've had that on a much lower level, I imagine. The delicious people promise so much...I suppose...and there are a lot of crazies in the world.

"That's a big red flag for me. The messaging facilities on here are more than sufficient

Whereas, we see it as a red flag if someone insists on keeping all discussions here.

That is just plain weird. I pay for this, as do you, I assume..."

I have no idea on what paying for this has to do with anything to what I've said.

In our experience, the high majority of times someone has not wanted to take conversation to another platform, is because they are hiding it from their partner.

"As a couple it's easier for a 3/4 way conversation but still happy to chat here.

Mrs

Yeah, yeah...only the perverted men who have persuaded their women, talk on here.

I do most the talking on here.

Mrs "

Oh, alright. So this is the Mrs talking now? For a second I wasn't sure.

Yeah. That sounds right.

We have couples we are real long time friends with, who we may swap WhatsApp with, but not some randoms I've never met."

We have a spare phone we use.

We do though only swap numbers when we are talking about a possible meet.

We like to converse over the phone before anything is planned.

"Why are some people so keen to take chats or whatever off this site.

It shows that the person is serious about meeting. There are lots of fake profiles on here, to take things off the site would make a cat fish shyte themself "

I can't tell. Is that for real?

Seriously, that's how it turned out, not an assumption, what they eventually expressed on why they didn't want to swap numbers.

We are though, talking directly towards the gent that felt it was a red flag to want to change platforms, and expressing it works there other way also.

"It's easier to talk in a more flowing sense.

Voicenotes which are my favourite way of communicating with someone. Also laziest.

I'd crawl over broken glass, naked, carrying a medicine ball between my buttocks to get a voicenote from you. I've heard your accent on one of your video's and still haven't pulled myself together #velvettongued"

You've brought a tear to my thighs with this beautiful, heartfelt statement. Thank you.

For me it’s just easier to use WhatsApp you can do voice calls, voice notes, images etc and it’s much easier to use that the chat here ….. and most importantly it’s secure if you’re sharing images or private info like addresses

I've never heard your voice before. I don't know if mine is the best, I think it becomes pretty fucking irritating if you have to endure it for longer than five minutes. That's when it's good to put a cock in my mouth.

When messaging single men, it seems to be a tactic to try to nail you down as such (no pun intended) or secure a meet. Divert you away from the site where they think you might become distracted by other chats. Men have confirmed this to me previously.
