I do wonder about fake, reported profiles. I reported a profile . Slightly different as asking for money to meet , play. Exact wording on message.

Are you willing to give cash rewards for meets and fun. Message on my profile shows unread. Profile is showing online just now. Not good ?

These fake profile threads are a dime a dozen and always started by people who feel that profiles are fake because they have rejected them or they have repeated engagement with profiles they believe to be "genuine" fakes.

My feeling about either of the above is that this is a site for grown adults but calling someone fake because they don't respond positively is a childish approach while doing the same thing over and over in regard to talking to so many fakes is very naive.

This isn't a crèche so maybe look at the common denominator if you are having lots of no shows or are being catfished.

It's more often than not a failing in your own approach.

Having your hand held isn't on the list of fab interests.

That may sound harsh but I've been here 7 years and never once had a conversation with a fake profile, never been asked for money or favours and never had a no show.

That's not down to luck.

Anything net based is. In another site. I was given a mobile number from a womans profile. There was a simple exchange via text. I rang the number to have a civil chat.

Nothjng zero no answer.

Absolutely there are fake profiles but if they are AI God help us! The number of profiles purporting to be women or couples who then upload pics taken from random porn sites is the give away. Easily found using reverse image search tools.

I've actually been catfished 3 times! Discovered they were using fake pics. I've just been accused of being a fake account even though I'm verified,sent pics etc .by someone who was so suspicious that became abusive with anything I said. Things like 'oh that's convenient' 'you've got a low snap score' 'You didn't come over because you're fake!' No, I didn't come over because every other message was abusive!

Not sure about AI bots O.P, but there are a lot of fake profiles on here, lots of wind up profiles, teasing profiles etc, just like anyother site.

But unlike those other sites if you call it out on fab you get abused it seems.

FAB is unlike another site due to the ratio of women to men, women here are in charge, so as I have read on other threads, be prepared for ghosting, deleted messages, consent refusals, being labeled due to your single status etc.

my advice go out into the world and see people face to face the last place to depend on is FAB.
