I ended up in a scrap over this about a year ago dropping a friend from work home and the car in front threw a massive McDonald's bag of rubbish out the car window so I got out and threw it back in the window escalated from there haha

It would probably have been less hostile to just put it in the bin

scourge not only of this country but many countries unfortunately.

Oh for installing some virtues of the Japanese/Asians who take pride in cleanliness and tidiness and educate at a young age and install those virtues.

Personally I think companies should reward people for cleaning other peoples litter up

Newcastle upon Tyne

Was in a car park, saw 2 guys in a car and just knew that their takeaway rubbish was about to be chucked out of the car, so started videoing. Sure enough, my instinct was correct. Got it all on video. Reported it to the council, who were very grateful. I also did a check and found that the car was not insured or MOT'd, so mentioned that as well. Hopefully it was a very expensive takeaway!

A lot of European countries don't have much of a problem so its down to upbringing and cultural expectations. I know my Swiss mother was horrified by it.

Also in the camp of can't understand it.

My daughter as young as 3 could say put your litter in the bin and if you can't find a bin take it home !

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

Hopefully the litter throwers might think twice about dumping their litter again. Just picking it up after them already happens.

No rewards. The litterers should be blasted with a powerful blast of Squirt mixed with 3 week old Tango.
