Conversations, hesitations in my mind

You got my conscience asking questions that I can't find

I'm not crazy

I'm sure I ain't done nothing wrong, no

I'm just waiting

'Cause I heard that this feeling

Won't last that long

I think Something Good is the only song Kate Bush has allowed her music to sampled on

Maybe so, but she strikes me as someone that'd maintain agency over her music... of course I have no idea though.

And clever device to do it twice, rhyming with zed and zee...but this is probably too much consideration for an All Saints track!

The second time is the best though! The satisfying one to sing along with a hairbrush microphone

It is clever. And I should give it more appreciation but vest tops and cargo pants!!

It sadly doesn't suit my voice so I won't be inflicting it on anyone

And you know I'm not all about the writing; I wish I was that cultured!

But I'm with you on the vest tops and cargo pants...ah, late 90s, how we loved you.

by the big field

Saw them several years ago as a support for another group (might have been Tear for Fears?)- think it was their first gig for years...they were surprisingly very excellent (and Miss Shaznay was also looking mighty fine if i may say so )

Dude, I don't know what it's like in London, but the vest tops and cargo pants are all I'm seeing in Bristol at the moment... really in fashion among the 18 - 25 bracket it seems

Same. I wore it first time round!

I've fallen down a music rabbit hole of that era. Just listened to Toni Braxton - You're Makin' Me High. She was a saucy one with those lyrics!
