It’s not uncommon in certain parts….

Definitely worth a try…. Adding a knob of butter and a slab cheese gives the whole experience another dimension….!.

Hard cheese works really well with fruitcake…

No! Cream cheese frosting is a traditional covering for carrot cake (made with cream cheese, icing sugar and squeeze of orange).
