Nothing. I have wondered sometimes just how much effort it would take to completely disappear. Expunge every record, every mention, ever data point. Then you've got to mind wipe everyone that's ever interacted with you.

I think it'd be an amazing plot for a movie. But there will always be that 1 thing you forgot to erase. And someone you mind-wiped find it. And it stirs echoes in their mind. That jigsaw piece leads to another then another. And they spend the film putting together a narrative about a missing person. They even get their friends in on it too. More revelations. Culminating in the group realising they have all been mind wiped, by someone they can barely if at all remember. They manage to track him down, in the last scenes of the film. Surround him at gunpoint if you like. Show him the proof. And ask "Why?"

He replies "Because.." and the film ends.

Leaving the viewer to decide upon their own reason.

It's what you do in this life that people remember you by and only for a short while tbh as time is like the ocean on a beach , it just wipes you from memory and that's ok too ,that's why you should live your life and make no apologies to anyone , what others think of you when you're gone is immaterial as you can't do anything about it anyway , what you'd like to be remembered as is how you live your life now , if you're an asshole in people's eyes now you'll be an asshole in their eyes when you kick the bucket, no matter what you think , in this life try to be caring & kind, helpful to others when you can , those few things are a big umbrella and cover a multitude, if you can manage that you're doing ok and that's how others will remember you by.
