Having just served another forum timeout , I returned today , eager to get back into some thought provoking threads and controversial topics .

Clearly today was not a good day to come back with any expectation , its more like a love in !

OK head above parapet here (thank god I have work this afternoon lol!!!) I have found the mods to be fair and open ...... whenever I have had to contact them they have been sympathetic and listened to my point of view and acted ........

I think thought provoking posts are allowed but when the rules start to be broken and people are being attacked the mods aren't given any choice but to remove the post

Broad shoulders here ...... do your worst

I don't agree with mod bashing.You can't please all the people all the time. And if most people are happy most of the time to me that suggests to me that they generally get it right.

Debate is allowed but when it becomes abusive the forum mods will close and rightly so , nothing wrong with an adult debate if the adults can debate it using appropriate language and being respectful of others point of view , whether you agree with it or not , surely thats what debate means.

If it comes down to people ganging up on others just because they dont agree with the majority then the forum moderators step in and rightly so , keep up the good work.

It's not so much mod bashing , an earlier poster said she has always felt they have listened to her and acted in the past .

On the occasions I have tried to put my points to them I have never gad a reply !

So I get a timeout and accept it every time as it frustrates me that I never get any response - perhaps I should do as you do and praise them to get a few brownie points

Admin and mods are not the same,admin don't respond unless they feel that a ban has been wrongly placed and then you'll know as the ban will have been lifted

Praising mods or the KGB or the forum Nazis as we get called so often gets you no brownie points at all,all we want is that people abide by the rules as it makes life a lot easier in here

Its meant to be a fun place after all

Now im going to close this because all too often we'll get badmouthed and thats against the rules the same as it is for any user on here so ill only end up banning someone and then they'll only end up moaning about it
