"Think it helps there are two players in the England team playing in Spain and know most of team and we have James back! But who would sit it out? Toone??" Id keep the starting team the same as today. But be ready to sub James on at the right moment.

With the caveat we should, of course, play the best starting XI.

We have the edge in Sarina who is obviously the best ladies manager in the world. Goes to the Netherlands and wins the Euros, goes to England and wins the Euros and now the World Cup Final

"Yes But should venues be allowed to sell alcohol before 11am i guess they could give to to customers with an IOU and they could pay later or run a tab for a table or person." Why? Can people not watch the first half with a soft drink?

Can people not watch the first half with a soft drink? " I'm sure they could if there was no other choice. For many people though, it's a big part of the match day experience, having a couple of drinks before the game with family & friends, building up the atmosphere, waiting for the team lineups to be announced, having a moan at the mgr for picking the wrong team!! It's like saying why couldn't you go out to a party and drink soft drinks rather than have a few beers. You could, but it wouldn't be as much fun for those of us who like to have a drink

I genuinely can't understand why it's such an issue, sorry. I'm off out tonight to the Manchester pre social, I shan't be drinking alcohol and will have a great night. I have to drive home. On another occasion, I might have one drink (though I've not really d*unk much alcohol for many years now, mainly once or twice a year). It's possible to have a great time and have soft drinks for the first hour. I'd understand more if it was no alcohol whatsoever during/around the match.

But as it just the ladies it's more oh it will be OK just think something could have been done.

As someone who is a social drinker I really don’t understand why you would want to go to a pub say at 10.30am and want a alcoholic drink. If I was going to go it would be for a cooked breakfast, cup of tea and wait until the final whistle were by England have won the women World Cup and toast the victory with a strawberry & lime cider.
