Hi, I posted about this yesterday and it mysteriously disappeared...

So I'll try again. If I'm posting in the wrong category please tell me.

I have paid for fab wingers twice. Once by card and within a month or so was the victim of card fraud.

Then recently I paid again by phone and since then I've been receiving scam WhatsApp messages which I never received before.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Bad luck. Not sure if fab can actually do anything re: scams as there’s currently a spate of this kind of thing right across the internet currently - I’ve been swamped by lots of strange calls/phone seeming to take on a life of it’s own recently, especially where WhatsApp concerned. Trust it’s sorted for you soon

Sorry to hear that, I'm sure many others have paid by phone without issue. Probably look elsewhere you have used your phone number on the internet.

Thanks. Yeah could be from anywhere, I just thought the timing from both times was suspicious and interested if anyone else had the same experience.

Hide your phone number when calling out. Mine has been on block for years, I also have a spam and scam blocker on my new phone, look in the phone settings you may have the same features.

Card and text payments are set up with trusted third parties. I doubt if those companies would still be trading if they were scamming people

It is probably a coincidence as lets face it there are a lot of scams on the go all the time
