Well atleast in Scotland aha! Been a long summer holidays that’s for sure!

Back to freedom and a lot more time to fit the morning/afternoon meets in.

Anyone else feel the same?

In the middle

Blimey that’s early, in the Middle we didn’t go back until the first week of September mind you it’s been a long time since I’ve had to deal with the school uniform saga

East London

I used to be sad when school holidays were over.

I liked spending time with my children; especially while their dad was at work.

We'd visit family, or they would visit us.

All the local children would play on the greens outside our houses.

We'd go out for days.

Wherever

Not really, no.

Schools provide a very challenging environment for both my kids so I enjoy seeing them running wild and free, unbothered and I’m dreading September already.

Wouldn’t change that for anyone or anything.

But they break up at the end of June, unlike the schools down south

We've 3 weeks to go. I'm enjoying the more relaxed vibe and more time with them. But it takes more of my energy for sure.

glasgow-ish

Thankful that the kids are back in the routine, but as a solo parent, daytime ‘fun’ isn’t that easy a thing to get to do.

Plenty of mundane stuff to be sorting out this week though and can get in with it.

London is yet to see the kids back in school can't wait

Horrid having to be amongst bad mannered disrespectful dumb kids

I'm always happy to see a younger try be more mature and just share a joke amongst their friends without disrupting everyone else around
