Tanned or pale?

I'm just wondering in general what people find sexier? (Tanned or pale skin) or does it not matter to you?

It's odd because I don't care if other people are pale or tanned... Not sure I'd even notice... But I like being tanned...

It depends. Assuming we are talking about Caucasians only.

A redhead with porcelain white skin looks amazing.

But so does a blonde who has skin darker than her hair.

Brunettes look good with pale or olive tanned skin.

But tan lines are sexy.

Other ethnicities look amazing too.

That's really perceptive... I agree with that! That's my preferences too for those hair colour/skin types...

I like all sorts of looks on all sorts of people.

I don't get the obsession with tanning, I think it's silly, it's just playing with cancer.

I do find people who don't deliberately play with cancer to look good attractive, because I find intelligence attractive.

But I know tanning happens incidentally and I'm not into one skin tone over another.

I don't believe the sun causes cancer in and of itself or all the animals would be dead lol. Suncreams full of known cancer-causing chemicals most people can't even pronounce left to stew in ultra violet rays... Now that might be a concoction for cancer...

Because it seems to me that it's just throwing out generic insults at people who disagree with you or are bemused by your posting style.

"From Harvard Health Publishing...

"Recalls regarding carcinogens (cancer-causing substances) in drugs have reached the sunscreen aisle. In July 2021, Johnson & Johnson recalled five aerosol sunscreen products and CVS stopped selling two sunscreen products because of the presence of the carcinogen benzene. The moves came after an online pharmacy identified traces of benzene in dozens of sunscreen products and petitioned the FDA to investigate. The same pharmacy (Valisure LLC) was also responsible for testing that triggered recalls in 2019 and 2020 of heartburn and diabetes medications found to contain the carcinogen N-nitrosodimethylamine. Johnson & Johnson officials say benzene is not a sunscreen ingredient and confirm that additional testing found benzene in some products at such low levels that it would not be expected to cause health problems".

J and J. Is that the same ones that put asbestos in it's powders and whose makers write books about depopulation and viruses? Oh what a coincidence!

Enjoy your sun screen. Keep hating the people trying to save your lives."

Why add anything to your skin that's unnecessary such as moisturizer or make up then? Funny people get all wound up about sun cream without a thought to all these other chemicals they put on their faces.

You're 'logic' is wrong somewhere... I'll let you try to figure out where...

Also... Maybe it had something to do with getting SUNBURNED! - Which isn't good for ANYONE!!!

Watch a cat lying out in the sun or any other animal. They do it for a while then (using COMMON SENSE) they take to the shade... They don't lye out in it until they get burnt to a crisp and then complain the sun harmed them.

Oh my goodness...

And then they say:

"Oh i should have worn suncream to protect myself!"

NOT... "Oh i shouldnt have been such an idiot and lay out in the sun EVERY YEAR until i was burnt to a crisp!"

(Head in hands).

I'm off... I can't take anymore of this.

Year after year he lays out in the sun till he's burnt to a crisp... Expecting a different result...

Isn't that the definition of insanity?

Generally I prefer pale skin

But for a variety of factors some people suit darker / tanned skin.

As always context matters

Don't matter to me.

But I am very very white

Then when I pop to the nudist beach I turn into a lobster

I don't particularly care. I wouldn't say I pay much attention to others. But when it comes to my skin, I like being all golden and sun kissed rather than the usual white pale look I've got going on.

"I like all sorts of looks on all sorts of people.

Now that might be a concoction for cancer..."

That's incredibly ignorant... Animals do actually get skin cancer. As someone who's had it too, it's a lack of sun cream that was the issue

It's actually cats that usually get it, especially white ones, I've seen lots that have to have the tips of their ears removed.

Also cats are prone to skin cancers on their noses

Never thought I had real pref either way although I would have said tanned, being bi I definately find tanned guys more attractive, however despite starting to wonder if maybe I'm now gay, I have noticed that on the rare occasion a woman catches my eye she has been very pale, I wonder why that is?

We prefer pale - especially on ladies.

In days gone by, pale skin was a sign of class, as the poor had to work outside so got tanned, while posh ladies stayed in the shade.

No preference really. I have pale skin as a rule and a slight glow in the summer from my gardening and when I sit out to drink my tea enjoying the flowers, playing with the dogs etc.

I’ve found as I’ve gotten older I can’t sit out in the Sun for long like I used to in my 20’s.

Speaking as someone who's pretty much translucent I'd say pale skin is sexier

But don't really have a preference other than actually having skin

I can be attracted to the blackest of black and the whitest of white skin.

I'm a combination of pasty and slightly tanned, like a patchwork quilt.

First off, I didn’t lay in the sun and get burnt to a crisp, I was unlucky and got caught out, but the sun caused skin cancer, not sun cream.

You claimed sun cream gives you cancer not the sun.

Which one is it then?

National red head so pale skined anyway

And burn in the sun

Do like the fake tan look though on myself

But just looks odd or in less I am fully dressed but if not looks real odd being fake tanned hafe way down my belly down

Ie only tan what I can hide so neck line and face and arms are out the question

Witch means I look odd when naked good when clothed ie long sleeve dress and tops hide that part ha ha

irrelevant

I have always been very Liberal with suncream on my face , chest and shoulders as they burn easily . I didn't use much suncream on my legs and I had an aggressive fast growing malignant melanoma on my ankle. I went on holiday with what looked like a small patch of dry skin and came home after sunbathing for a week (I didn't burn) and it had changed so I went to the doctors

I am just one person of course only my experience but after discussions and treatment at THE cancer hospital the Christie I will go with their opinions and advice on suncream, vitamin D and sun exposure

I like my own pale skin now I didn't used to. I like any skin on others no preferences at all.
