Depending on the situation I have done.

If I am offered and have time to refuse I refuse politely.

If it's thrust at me or delivered , I do have a slight hissy .... when I get it.

Like for instance I take a free drink someone bought me at a bar yes

It depends, I have in the past from patients usually something littl that seems to mean something to them if you take it, for example a patient was a painter he gave me one of his paintings I knew I'd never hang it anywhere it wasn't my style but he was so proud and wanted me to take it so I did (I di actually still have it in a box)

The on the other hand the amount of junk people try and give me for the kids, broken toys and such, no I'm not taking it.

I don’t want to come across like a Zen master here, just that sometimes not having things or dealing with things is worth a lot.

Yes! I have a couple of friends who run a catering company. He always offloads crockery that's no longer in fashion, cooking equipment etc.

Sometimes it feels like a clearing out job and they're not doing it because they think I'll love it. It just saves them having to get rid of the items. It's slightly irksome.

I take all the coffee, tea, shampoo when I leave the hotel. I leave it out for people at work.

His face was a picture
