Remember those blocks years ago ......wrapped in gold foil..... I'd buy one instead of sweets.

Christmas cake to me was always peel the marzi off n dump the cake in the bin ....

Aldi and lidl have the nice long round topped marzi bars....... bliss.

Chipping Norton

Raw seafood of the highest quality. Freshly gathered raw ceps and other great mushrooms. Perfectly crisp bacon, white bread and tomato ketchup. A meltingly ripe avocado with fresh chopped chilli, burrata and olive oil.

And, sadly, really good caviar. Disappointing when fabulously expensive items turn out to be worth the money, but some of them really are.

I have so many ‘best food ever’ that I can’t pinpoint one. I’ll go with the one that’s freshest in my mind and that’s the scones I got for Pickle’s Picnic in the Park yesterday. They were the best I’d ever had and others who had them said it was theirs too.
