I really disliked ELO in the 70s, not really the kind of music I listened to.

40 years later and I listen to much more varied music. I heard Jeff Lynne doing a acoustic versions of Telephone Line and Can't Get You Out of My Head and thought maybe I should give ELO a listen. Nope. Still really dislike them

Not a fan of Quo... ELO where better, but still not my thing really.

I do respect Jeff Lyne though, very talented musician and songwriter

Saw Quo many times in the 70's but thought they went off the boil once the new line ups happened. Saw them supporting Lynyrd Skynrd a couple of years back and they were bloody awful...sad really.

Worthing

Quo were great up to and including Quo Live. After that, a little bit to light for me. ELO made a few good tracks.

I liked “In the Army now”. The others are ok after a few years between listening.

I know what you mean though OP, I feel the same way about Abba.
