when i was 23 i collapsed in my home.this was long before i was married. It was my mam who came to the house and kept knocking on the door and got no answer she had gone round the back and after looking through the window had seen the key in the door.(that key probs saved me) as if it hadnt been in the door my mam might have thought i was out. To this day i have no recollection as to how i managed to open the door for my mam to get in nor do i remember getting rushed to hospital in an ambulance.i was in hospital 12 days. i have hypertension which in my case was very serious. There is a family history of it.my great grandad,my nan and my mam all had it.my granddad had a stroke because of it. Sadly i had to find out the hard way by being seriously ill.i didnt know i had it.it left me blind in one eye which i have had to deal with. Always get you BP checked regular
