"France and Germany are just bullies. Many Nigeriens support the military why not just leave them alone " Because it is a Wagner funded coup based on disinformation who's gained a foothold in every country in Africa from East to West? If Wagner is responsible for atrocities, you only have to look at ISIS and the Taliban to see how armed conflict and radicalism affects people.

"This all I can find, pretty standard really. Emmanuel Macron "will not tolerate any attack against France and its interests" in Niger and Paris will retaliate "immediately and uncompromisingly", the French government said on Sunday, as thousands demonstrated outside the French embassy in Niamey in support of an ongoing military coup. "Anyone attacking French nationals, the army, diplomats or French bases would see France retaliate immediately and intractably," the Elysée Palace warned in a statement. "The President of the Republic will not tolerate any attack against France and its interests." According to the Quai d'Orsay, 500 to 600 French nationals are currently in Niger. "France also supports all regional initiatives aimed at "restoring constitutional order" and the return of the elected president Mohamed Bazoum, the palace added. so nothing to do with stealing all the countries natural resources than no " The statement says nothing about resources, however I do believe the coup is backed by the Wagner group.

"If negotiations doesnt work. I think that military intervention could be the only solution there." Why military intervention when it was a bloodless coup. Why can't France mind thier own business and stay the fuck out. Except they have something to loose.

The world is slowly being run by and taken over by gangsters and Putin is right there. I see the infamous Chechen killers imported to Ukraine now running energy plants that were financed by Europeans Germany are smart to be building military force.

"The Sahel, of which Niger is part of, have some of the richest mineral deposits in the world. As has been observed above the former French colony provides almost all of the Uranium used to power French nuclear reactors. Almost all of this uranium is mined via companies owned by the French. There is a similar story for most other minerals. As a result almost none of this wealth goes to the average citizen of Niger. If the French do engage militarily it is purely for their own economic interest. They don’t care at all, and never have, about what happens on the ground." so it’s perfectly okay for France to do airstrikes on them then and it’s totally wrong What Putin is doing in the Ukraine ?

Just look how our vets and ex vets are treated.

That is going to be our very clear strategic alliance for decades to come. That governs our global alliances - NATO, AUKUS,etc. Central Africa is irrelevant to the UK. We care about ocean access, the Arctic and, increasingly, Asia. That is where our alliances are focused.

"Always look at the bigger picture. To mislead is to confuse. All the global things that is happening at the moment are not random and are all connected. " I unfortunately think this is correct, we are edging to global conflict, sides are being formed.

"Where is the evidence that the Niger coup was organised by Wagner or Russia? locals flying Russian flags in Niamey isn't. Niger provides 25% of Uranium to the EU but 80% of Nigeriens have no electricity, sure corruption is rife in Africa, but the French have taken advantage of the former African colonies since independence, maybe France should leave the Africans to it." Protestors storm French military base in Niger. Police have been instructed by Niger's new military government to eject the French ambassador. The order has been defiantly ignored by the French administration. Protesters invaded the French military base in the capital, Niamey, in response to the rising tensions.
