Don't laugh but my kids when they were younger found a sheepskin 'big slipper' at a car boot sale and bought it for me... I had to sit there every night for weeks with my feet in it till a pup I got decided to climb into it and use it for a bed!

Priceless, kids and their humour, ours were like that when they were younger, probably why we continue to love them so much

My late partner and I used to give each other little pressies with no reason except we thought the other would like them.

They were usually little cute gadgets for cars/camping/office/kitchen etc...

Pearl. My late partner and I were like that also, or we used to pop little notes to each other in bags or pockets.... I came home once and he had written me an erotic teasing tale.... and left it on a paper trail all the way to the bedroom where he was waiting! xxx

my ex husband was a big horse racing fan .i bought him something quite valuable signed by john Mc cririck in a charity auction a week before he abandoned me, so i asked for it back ......i have it proudly displayed in my lounge as a reminder of how much i miss him(not!!)...

but as a person i love to practice random acts of kindness including little gifts...

While I was at work once Rob went to my car and left a huge bouquet of flowers on the seat with a note to press play on the CD player where he had put a song I love in

It freaked me out........I thought I had a stalker!!

My better half sent me a big boquet of flowers, to placement I was working at ... everyone kept asking me what he'd done wrong, bless him ... never did find out

why are women suspicious if their partner brings them flowers out of the blue?, usually they have done something or want something, but often it is really just to say "I love you" xxx
