Chelmsford

Archeologists from Poland have recovered a 'Vampire Child' grave where the child had a padlock on her ankle and face down in the grave. One theory is that locals feared the child was an actual vampire which is an eternal living creature which feasts on human blood.

Could this prove the existence of a Polish Vampire,,?

It's all over the news

The vjesci (Polish: wieszczy) is a vampire in Polish folklore. According to legend, a person was destined to be a vjesci from the time they were born, and could be discerned from a caul located on the newborn's head.

I thought being born with a caul meant they were psychic

Whaley Bridge,Nr Buxton,

People suspected of being witches, vampires or revenants all over europe were subject to various kinds of burial practices, head between the feet, face down, nails in the body or loose in the coffin, feet amputated.None have been found with a stake through the heart, seems Bram Stoker didn't do his research into the killing of suspected vampires. There was a universal belief that iron, particularly nails,"hold" ghosts vampires etc in place,so these entities avoid them. Many people used to walk home at night with nails in their pocket.Loose nails are quite often found in chimneys and window/door frames of old houses to keep evil spirits out of the home.
