We are thinking of visiting Studland Beach for the first. How far is the parking away from the beach as Wifey can’t walk far? Cheers

If you want the naturist beach. Park along the road and where you see a break in the fence is where the path is if I remember rightly. I would gues a 10/15 minute walk. The last few minutes are a bit heavy going as sandy under foot.

Car park was packed yesterday with gates shut. Overflow field is far side of the hotel about 10 to 15 minutes further walk. Just be aware if parking on the road/grass that if there is are yellow lines the police gave out tickets to those who were on the verge/grass. We parked in the middle car park but they also were using another field for overflow parking. Nearer to the beach but obviously further to walk to the nudist part.

if you park in knoll beach car park you can walk along water front which isn't as arduous as the central route

In the school holidays yep families park up on ferry road and walk down middle path and also they have a security team patrolling beach but its the children on the beach that cause the most problem especially for the meerkat brigade who just walk up and down as usual

I did notice last year at the NT knoll beach park that they did have some wheel chairs with big flotation tyres presumably for use on the sand for less able folks, it is quite a walk but reasonably easy along the shore line where the sand is wet.

The knoll car park doesn't open until 8.30 am mind which can be annoying at times

It's a long walk from wherever you park if you can. I see lots of brags about studland, not much actually happens there. Its a gorgeous beach, often kayaking or paddle boarding round there. But it is mainly dominated by guys waving their todgers at passers by. Do get a few couples

Tessa must have had a startling effect on them, most of the ones I have have seen are nothing like long enough to wave about.
