Do you feel nervous about seeing ex partners?

I love how in movies they always have to bring someone with them if they’re seeing an ex somewhere just to show they’re happy. Can’t you be happy without a partner?

Anyway the question is- have you ever felt nervous about seeing a recent ex?

Physically sick and full of dread, yes. I guess that's a kind of nervous?

Some of them yes. Some of them no. Some I look forward to seeing again. Some I never want to see again, some I can take or leave.

That makes it seem like I have lots of exs... I do.

My most recent ex was from over 26 years ago! I doubt we would even recognise each other!!

It really depends.

One ex I would take someone with me so I know I wouldn't be tempted to let him back in

I bumped into an ex in Asda last year. We didn’t even make eye contact which was weird because I stood and talked to her sister for 20 minutes

Not really. I’m on good terms with most of my exes. In that I say hello and have a little chat if I see them out and about, not that we go shopping together and grab a latte afterwards.

I’m always happy for my ex partners. Although one recently told me she feels bad for me because of all the great stuff in her life that I’m missing which I was like… ok to. But I still get nervous seeing them. You know?

I have felt nervous sometimes but there is no-one now I would feel nervous about seeing. Some I would be excited to see actually. I hope all my ex's are happy and have everything they want in their lives.

I am seeing my most recent ex tomorrow and he is one of my favourite people.

I don't have any partners at the moment but I am happy with myself so a partner would be a bonus not a requirement right now and I wouldn't need to prove anything to an ex.

One ex boyfriend is married to a friend of mine. I lost my virginity to that dude. I'd quite happily see him and chat, no problems. My son's father though? I'll be headed in the opposite direction, pronto.

I mean, if I'd done that 20yrs ago, it would have saved a lot of heartache

Nope, After time I just become so indifferent towards them. When the fire is out, it's out. Like the song, somebody that I used to know.

I don’t get nervous for any bad reasons. I should stress that. I don’t have any exes that I hate I don’t think. I get nervous because it’s like what’s the vibe going to be like

You should be more worried if you bump into their new boyfriend.

I'm on good terms with the majority of my ex's except my last, he thinks I'm a terrible person

It wouldn't bother me to bump into any of them.

No. Hatred, anger and feeling unworthy - absolutely. I'm angry just thinking about him.
