Does anyone ever feel a deep tired. Emotional and physical and mental tiredness

Not any one thing or any one person.

How do you deal?

You can’t just run or ignore but where’s your happy place even if for a few minutes

Belfast

Every day for the last 18 months.

I'm on autopilot most of the time because nothing else works.

Yes!!

For the last week or so, I think it's because I finally just stopped running around like a dickhead and everything kinda hit me. And now even walking is hard!

My happy place is some time with people I like ( yes they exist!). And time alone just doing nothing. Sometimes doing nothing is good.

I feel like this more often, than I should....

I'm physically tired from work...

I'm mentally tired from working with idiots at work...

And sometimes emotionally tired from home life....

But my GF, is always there for me

Generally for me, I just lay on bed, nice slow music on, phone off, calm....

Sometimes she joins me..

But im Generally good after couple hours

Still waiting to find that happy place.

Most definitely for the last 6 months…..work is where I generally de-stress and finally speaking to someone next week…. And kayaking is a very good way to unwind…

surrounded by twinkly lights

My happy place is in Staffordshire, and Imagining myself driving there, helps when I'm upset. Until I can throw the bag in the car and take off

I think I've been emotionally tired for a while. My last job really dulled my sparkle and my new one isn't really giving me the purpose at work that I need.

There's been a fair bit going on in my life over the last few years and it's all kinda hit me all at once. I'm worn out to the point my soul feels exhausted.

Day to day I just carry on and get on with stuff and still manage to be positive but I'm very tired.

My happy place is the beach and I go as often as I can.

Thank you for the honest answers and it’s good to realise it’s not only me

It’s incredibly hard to get the correct work/life balance where you feel selfish putting yourself first

It's taken me ages to figure out...now 43...but having the best times now for the past 2 years....

Look after number 1, go on holidays, do the things you want to do...

Only downside is work, need money to do these things, but feels good working, knowing you got holidays etc...

Tired of them PPI calls.. Just had one now.

Tiredness can lead to burn out

Physically bodies tire out.

Mine did yesterday. Everything was going wrong. I am tired of fighting my corner. Had to find an office in the heat.Google Maps was tiring me out sending me on goose chase. My parking app did not work. Things fell off the shelves. Then some van driver blocked me in car park.

Yesterday was a fighting my battles day. Swore it was friday 13th.

Becoming over tired physically means to me take time out. Rest up.

We are in August so we have worked 8 months time to rest. Why many holiday this month.

Depends what we are tired of?

Mentally I have mental health days and need to look after myself and that's important for me to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Go for walks

Read a book

Make a craft

Listen to rain music closing eyes and let all my thoughts run away. Nothing else does.

Yes, all of the time recently…., my happy place was always somewhere I could be alone….., I usually disappeared into the woods and would go all “Ray Mears” for a week or two ……. The people in my life now expect me to be present all of the time, so I do not have that luxury….. this week, I tried walking on the dark of the night to find that stillness….. literally walked all night and all I achieved was to make people angry with me…….

So, for now now, I will just have to continue to smile through gritted teeth and pretend to the world that I am in a good place

I hope you find your peace OP
