A red flag for me would be if chatting to a person and no mention of a meet from them ..and you have mentioned interest in one already but nothing from them ..then it would scream Timewaster to me..and it has happened ..so l politely show myself to the door , block and start again ..l was chatting to a woman here who talked the talk but when push came to shove..she had no intention of ever meeting..just wanted her ego fed ..and who knows she could have been doing the same to loads of guys..but that type of behaviour is certainly a red flag to me.

That would be a green flag for me because it meant she had read and understood my profile.

I don't expect every conversation to lead to a meet and I don't expect every social meet to lead to sex.

A red flag would be someone pushing to meet or pushing to skip the social.

Agreed! The entitlement to a meet because you responded is ridiculously high. Then you get the daily threads, "why will no-one reply to my messages?"

This attitude right there. For many the talking is the foreplay. Seeing if you connect and will continue to a meet. The amount of people who have written something that's made me change my mind. Huge percentage. As I'm sure I've been the same for others.

I'd rather chat than meet straight away. We're very new to this and have done clubs but never meets so chatting is a must for us as I'm sure we'll meet sometime.

Biggest red flag for me, is really old pics, it’s such disappointment meeting someone and it turns out that they are wayyyyyy older than they say they are.

I think its usually because they want all play to focus on the lady of the couple ,so me seeing the male is irrelevant to them.

Someone who arranges to meet, disappears on the day and then the next day asks me what happened as they wanted to meet me! one of them turned out to be a catfish using fake photos, the other turned out to be in a relationship (which I knew) but got cold feet. What they had in common is that they both blamed me - serious gaslighting!

Rearranging first meet. (whatever the excuse).

Profiles that are just a list of demands that read like a prison ward welcoming the newbies.

Incongruent behaviour like being single but never staying overnight. Never meeting at her place. Avoiding whatsapp and only using kik or something. (cheater).

Pics that are always at an extreme downangle (insecurities for being out of shape I suppose. Out of shape is maybe a little unattractive but no date killer, being insecure about it is though).

When I write 5 sentences, and you ignore all of them in the reply (that is just not how conversations work).

Wanting to meet in a hotel but want me to pay half in advance.

Asking me about CCTV in the marina. Especially after asking if the boat is in a good condition or not. (wtf trying to steal my boat or something??)

Bringing drugs to my place.

Wanting freebies in their status updates ("I got a broken faucet, ha, I wish I knew some sexy handyman on here" or the alltime favourite "Oh, gold is running out tomorrow....". It's a fiver, don't be that cheap, cmon.)

Asking me to meet, then 5 minutes before I show up ask how I would like a threesome in a hotel very close by, some guy would offer it...

Probably more but I am getting bored writing this all up now. So many red flags out there

When someone isn't even pic verified is a red flag. If it's a new profile then for the first day or 2 you can understand but after that their is no reason to not be pic verified.

Also couples profiles who always put up that the misses is away and they are looking for someone for the male half and no one has ever met the female half of the couple

Oh no sorry you went through that that's why I video call before setting any dates for a social or meet

Can't just trust a picture and those with sense will feel safe and comfortable to have one as I will be showing I match the pictures I am posting on my profile.

"A red flag for me would be if chatting to a person and no mention of a meet from them ..and you have mentioned interest in one already but nothing from them ..then it would scream Timewaster to me..and it has happened ..so l politely show myself to the door , block and start again ..l was chatting to a woman here who talked the talk but when push came to shove..she had no intention of ever meeting..just wanted her ego fed ..and who knows she could have been doing the same to loads of guys..but that type of behaviour is certainly a red flag to me."

Not many humble people around but a little chat shouldn't be seen as harm and damage done unless the chat is not saying where it will lead to then yes that is time wasting fully xx

Add on. I asked to have a clean civil voice chat. Even over safe telgram.

From another site and off here they replied back.

We are not ready to talk yet!! They most or all disapear.

Just had to come back to report: I found another one!

Profile has no pics, the profile text is very short and has a line "I do not share pictures of here due to discretion! If you can’t understand that well then you probably shouldn’t message! Haha" in it but I am waiting an hour now for her to upload a pic "oh oops. takes longer than usual to upload hihi".

It's a simple request, nothing big, and yet I have to keep asking. Da hell
