There's a couple of years under the current set of arseholes before we have to worry about deciding on that.

No, but they will get their chance, as it as always been so shall it always be.

We like to think we're democratic but we're not, we're fickle, when times are good we look for a weakness to show we're not infallible, when times are bad we like to dig deep and prove it.

One of the best quotes made pre election was whoever gets in is not going to be popular and probably won't get reelected because of it.

The same was said for the policy on deficit reduction (as no one actually knows for a fact which one would actually work) as its just theory.

I expect labour being voted back in though, as memorisingly stupid that would be. I think the public will have forgotten all they did that was quite bad structurally to this country

Just by joining a political party or standing for parliament, marks anyone out to be a self serving, robbing, conniving, lying.....need I go on? NONE of them are of any use. Parliament should be organised like a jury service, without the perks, it would be much cheaper. Any government (as things stand) in this country is bloated, expensive, uneconomic and unwieldy. Professional politicians do not live in our world and have no interest in living in it, that is why they don't care. They are the modern day equivalent of the monarchy.
