Next 'does' question.

We went into a branch of our bank yesterday. I thought a customer was walking around with a laptop but no, the scruffy guy wearing trainers, skinny jeans and a polo shirt was staff. Does this mean the end of civilization as we know it?

Think yourself lucky that you had a real branch to go in!

I know Manic Street Preachers being number 1 was bad but I don’t think it ended civilisation.

We do count ourselves lucky even though it was a row of machines and two people with lanyards. I know it's progress etc but I do miss the hushed atmosphere of banks although I'm grateful for extended opening hours.

I wouldn't trust someone who can't get dressed properly to do my banking properly.
