So yesterday I was sat opposite someone, a stranger, who was eating. They were eating a sandwich and had tomato sauce on their face that they were oblivious to.

Would you want someone to tell you that you had that or not?

What else would you want to be told or not be told, such as for woman if your dress is tucked into your tights at the back etc

I did tell them about the said tomato sauce and they were grateful

Yeah I would tell em. My favourite is telling a guy his fly is undone then giving a cheeky smile as he pulls it up cause I know exactly what he's thinking at that point.

My general rule of thumb is only point out things that can fixed immediately- eg sauce on face, lipstick on your teeth etc.
