If many forum posts are correct a lot of people are in your boat op.

Age is important to me when we're meeting for sex, it's not relevant socially though. Chances are that if I knew a younger guy well enough socially I'd consider him sexually but not many of any age are willing to put that amount of leg work in on here without guaranteed sex at the end of it.

It's the first thing I look at in a profile and if the woman is outside my filters I don't even look at her pics or read her bio.

My lower age filter isn't negotiable so I assume that's true for a lot of people.

It’s tough finding people you connect with on this website in general. But in terms of older women, it matters to most. There’s some cougars on here and some women that generally aren’t that bothered by age. But if you are only open to older women then it’s going to be tough on here. I meet people I think I’ll connect with. As long as they’re older than 23 it’s fine but me

Yes age matters to me. I don't agree with the saying on here that age is just a number.

I've zero interest in meeting men a lot younger than me.

I have filters set to help with the amount of messages but I wouldn't go far outside of them.

My upper limit is set because a quite a lot of men in their 50s who were messaging me were actually quite a lot older than their fab age.

We arent too fussed about age...Inked is a lil more relaxed about the lower limit to like 20 but im like hmmm my oldest child is 21 anyone under 30 and i feel too old for them haha.

Age doesn't always mean maturity, but in my experience it's usually found in ladies a few years older than me.

Age matters to me, but it’s hard to find the right pivot point. I prefer people closer to our own ages, but so many are just not exciting or attractive enough, and I know- I’m no goddess. I like the positive energy of younger people, but not the lack of life experience.

Or if older, I’m younger looking, I’m younger in the head, I’m experienced.

Maybe just respect people’s choices and find profiles that match you instead of trying to convince people you are the one that the rules don’t count with.

Matters to me from my own experiences younger guys speak and treat me with more respect than older or same age guys do.

They tend to speak like their my dad and lie about being single when their not

It's about connection for me, not particularly age. But at the younger end of the scale I'd be looking for maturity.

I've had a few younger guys message, but I'm afraid as soon as they mention "I really like older women" it instantly turns me off! I don't feel "older" therefore I don't wish to be reminded!

Keep looking OP, as there are lots of women out there who like younger men

I only meet young men who are in their twenties and I set my age limits on here to between 20 and 30 to reduce the number of people who can contact me. So it works both ways.

Have you tried using the see who’s nearby search, for users who match your preferences, your desired age group, etc and want to meet someone of your age?

I really do think OP that your preference is your preference… it’s helpful to state it on your profile by the way. And someone else’s preference is theirs. If they match that’s all good. If they don’t then that’s all good too. Just find someone who does.
