Honestly most people are shit at flirting.

Largely because they either think they are just being nice despite it being flirty in appearance, or from the other end the other person mistakes being nice as flirting.

Most people are too reserved to be flirty with strangers/new people these days because it's generally not worth being so with them.

That's soley down to the perception of the guy.

Women certainly are not some magical creatures that ooze attration and sex appeal themselves.

More often it's a case a man will view a smile as flirting and go balls deep in an attempt to capitalise on a perceived opportunity.

Women are "better" because men are "weaker" to the effects.
