Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've decided to run away for a few days. I will have a big house and the sea.

The current weather is a little blowy but I will be doing some walking.

I've only just made the decision so what should I do for the next few days and what should I pack to keep myself amused. There is no internet access at the house.

There seems to be a theme of reading, eating and walking coming through.

Maybe I should see if I can sketch again.

For my time alone I need a cook to accompany me.

yes, sketch, recommend charcoal for this time of year. Take the opportunity to cook some lovely broths and soups, they are so easy and delish.

I'd take a musical instrument.

I rarely venture far from home without a guitar or a mandolin but maybe a tin whistle or a recorder might be a better starter instrument if you don't already play.

I forgot the "do" in the title and you have forgotten a "c" - unless you meant you want to exit.

Come along, it's a big house. It sleeps 8, easily, so a little wasted on just me.

We have high winds here at the moment, it's ok looking out to sea from behind a window and watching the waves crashing onto the shore, but it's not so nice walking out in it!!!

Lappy and DVDs.

Get a mobile internet dongle if the area has good reception, or rely on the phone if it can access the internet. Don't forget the phone and/or lappy charger.

Books and magazines.

Be prepared for bad weather, so plenty of layers and waterproofs.

Good luck and enjoy.

Chesil Beach and helping with the guillemots sounds worthy but I don't think I'm qualified to help. The cider only works if I have a driver.

Now I need a chef and driver.

"take binoculars "

That's a good idea. Now I have to steal the binoculars without the children noticing.

"Do you need anyone to sit in the back looking pretty?

Can you pass snacks as I drive?

If I can bring my snack basket

What's in the basket? I've got Waitrose hazelnut and chocolate biscuits, sweet and salty pop corn, blueberries and clementines."

Cookies, Pringles, toblerone and cadburys choc biscuits.

"I've decided to run away for a few days. I will have a big house and the sea.

The current weather is a little blowy but I will be doing some walking.

I've only just made the decision so what should I do for the next few days and what should I pack to keep myself

amused. There is no internet access at

the house."

Watch all the Harry Potter films.

A book, a flask for your home made soup, a sketch pad, and a writing pad to send letters, not e-mails. A journal to write your days in then you can relive them when you read it through again.

What would I do with the camera? Is it to make them think I have stolen their souls?

You don't steal them, just abuse them a little for a few hours.
