When it comes to saying yes or no to things, are you good at it?

If you were better at it, what would you find yourself saying yes or no to more often?

Manchester-ish

I find it hard to say yes to things outside my comfort zone. They require a lot of overthinking and processing time. Spontaneity scares me most of the time

I'm getting pretty good at saying no to things I don't want to do. Much better than I used to be. Sometimes I'll even say no rather than making an excuse.

the abyss

I'm terrible at saying No (surprising I know) if I feel like saying it will let the person down.

But then I'm possibly equally as bad at saying Yes to things I really want to when I feel the brain goblins get in the way.

The mind can be a terrible pain at times and not in the way I like

Carlisle usually

I'm more likely to say no than yes.

I'm also more likely to quantify than give an absolute if anything is less than absolute.

Ha! I don't know. I think that's because they're asked more so there's a greater likelihood, not because they find it easier.

Depends on the context, here I'm very good at saying no - unfortunately getting less polite about it.

When my friend says "do you want to pop out for a couple cocktails", I find it difficult to say no. When she says, do you want another and another gets even harder to say no.

When the guy comes across and says, "do you want to come back to mine", easy to say no, says He'll "do both me and my friend" it is even easier to say no - but more difficult to say it politely

It does, I mean there's still the "oh dear" moments but you get better at speaking honestly. And not going along with things.

Ah Julie

Spontaneity can be daunting but the more you say yes to things that you really want and will bring you joy, the happier you'll be. I hope one day the excuses aren't needed. Just the reason (if you want to!).

"When it comes to saying yes or no to things, are you good at it?

Depends what it is and who's asking.

A few people I just can't say no to, because of who they are, regardless of whether it's in my interests to or not, whether it'll be a ballache or whether I think it's a bad idea.

Sounds crazy right?

But some people have that effect on you.

Others I can quite easily say 'fuck no' to in a heartbeat.

A
