"Whether it be as a result of the locomotion or else perhaps the lulling sound of the train itself, I invariably struggle to stay awake on train journeys. Good folks; In direct relation to this, if you’ve even dozed off on a train, have you ever managed to sleep past your desired stop? If so, by how much? I’ll be awarding a special prize for whoever has overslept and subsequently overshot the longest ![]() Yes, was supposed to get off the train at Dundee (travelling from Aberdeen) slept through the the final stop at Edinburgh ![]() | |||

"Yes when I was eighteen travelling from London to Yorkshire. Managed to sleep until Edinburgh. I casually walked over to the other platform and got on a train heading south. Nobody said a word back then." That's epic. | |||
