Any other singles miss the romance of valentines day? I know a lot of people think its a rip off but I miss it x

Noooo....As a single I love valentines day,,, because it means on the 15th I can buy lots of good quality chocolate treats at discount prices

its all just a big rip off . you can go for a meal the day after and pay considerably less for the same meal on valentines day .

The whole Valentine Day thing is over commercialised but being single I do miss the gesture of something romantic by someone special. No strings sex is fantastic but doesn't replace real love and affection.

I think Valentines day is just as much for singles as anyone else. If you look in the mirror at midnight you are supposed to see the image of your future partner.

When I was younger I loved the anticipation of getting a valentines of some kind.

Once year someone dropped off a record of The Pushbike Song (I used to cycle everywhere) and ran away before my mam could see who it was.

Don't miss anything about it...or xmas, or easter, or birthdays lol...load of pish.. I do love heart felt emotions but who needs to put a price on it?

im a true romantic at heart (tracey) but ive yet to meet a really romantic guy...if im honest i love all the lovey dovey , hearts and flowers stuff ...but i think its dying out

having said that if my other half (david)reads this i am happy happy happy just being with him and i wudnt change him for the whole wide world

not bothered about flowers, i like cards though.

Mrs R was in labour on valentines day 5 years ago and early morning on the 15 th she gave birth to most wonderful valentines present I've ever had ,my boy.
