WW II, group of women are taken prisoner when the Japanese take Singapore and they are held on a PoW camp.

So nothing like the Vietnam or Korean wars.

I didn't have a fab season,but used to enjoy watching this with my mum.

She's no longer here & when I've caught Tenko repeats ,it makes me smile and think of her.
