All over

This was my answer to a similar post a few weeks ago:

I just looked in the pasta cupboard ( yes it has its own as there is so much of it) and have Orzo, Ditalini, Fettuccine, Linguine, Rotini, Farfalle,Pappardelle, Orrechiette,Tagliatelle,Penne and Rigatoni at the moment and some lasagne sheets. You can tell pasta is king in this house. I like pasta in salads and cold dishes not just hot ones. Mad

All depends what I'm having on it.

I prefer linguine to spaghetti for bolognese and carbonara.

I do a chicken pasta with either farfalle or fusilli.

I don't really care as long as there's enough sauce for the pasta.

Linguine, if a guy can watch me eat that and still want sex with me I know I'm onto a winner.

"I like the bows ...farfarelle I think"

Farfalle, which is Italian for butterflies, not bows, but I guess that’s fairly irrelevant

Depends what you're having with it but a gloopy (technical term) sauce lends itself to penne as it gets filled.

I always find penned too chewy.

I read an article a few months ago about all the varieties and what they go best with. Was interesting but I don't remember a word.

I'll stick to my dinosaurs.

I love the idea of a really fancy Italian restaurant using novelty pasta shapes.

And you can't beat a good filling.
