is a dangerous thing!!!!

i went to get my eyes tested on saturday bt because i mentioned seeing something in my vision when i moved my eyes i had to be booked in for an emergency appointment on thursday ()

so.....what have i been doing since then....searching the internet to see what it could be

I have floaters in my eyes, just clumps of protein. Have them for ages now and can get worse with age.

i might have to have the jelly sucked out of my eyes and replaced with saline

When ur retina detaches everything goes white..

I found this out when I had a metal toy car thrown into my open eye by accident :/

that is the worse thing that you can do,

i had a minor ailment a couple of years ago, checked the symptoms out online and thought that i had everything from hiv to terminal cancer !!

That's the trouble. Pre internet, I looked up an ailment I had in a medical textbook only to be told 'this condition is invariably fatal'.

Turned out the book was 20 years out of date.

i guess if i had to wait 5 days fr an emergency appointment it cant be that bad, but they did say that if they need to refer me it will be that day off to Birmingham

Its never a good idea to search the net with a list of medical problems.

The only thing worse than that is asking people on here what you have. They'll have you dead within the hour

The internet is a good and bad thing, for a mate who was going through cancer it helped him find out what was gonig to happen, what treatments there were for him.

I have another friend everytime she goes on the interent for an ailment, it always seems to be fatal.

Yh it was just a flash of white which I was told was my retina being pinged about..
