Is this witcher so good because it’s Henry Cavil?

Because the show is really poor if you know the books or games then you’ll know what I’m on about lots of race swapped characters some of the sources are really unattractive as in the games they are gorgeous women and also geralt gets sidelined for yen and to top it of Henry Cavil quit because the writers did not respect the source material so all in all great show lol

Yet to say anything on the 3rd season first hafe was awesome but the second hafe was poor to say the least big disappointment there

I am on season 2 and yes read the books that's why it's taken me so long to watch the series I am hooked.

Loved Mr Cavell since the tudors not so much as superman x

First and second and first hafe off the 3rd is awesome but the last couple off episodes aren’t the best x

I thought you meant the video games and I was going to agree for Witcher 3 in particular. Blood and Wine is an amazing DLC! I only saw season 1 which was fine, but stopped after that when I found out that the show had strayed very far from the source material (and not in a good direction!) The music in S1 had some bonafide earworms though - 'Toss a coin to your Witcher' and 'The Song of the White Wolf'

Barely hung on season 1.

Dragged myself through season 2.

Have no interest in watching season 3.

With the atrocious disrespect Netflix and the head show runner have given to Henry Cavill before, during, and after his removal from the role. Then for him not to be returning to a 4th season, my small remaining interest in the show died.

Rumours it’s going to be cancelled.

Real shame as Cavil in the first series was such a good Witcher he was also passionate about the source material but the producers not much.
