I find it amazing that I put down on my profile is people fairly local to me and the response I get people are to far away, I even have one from the USA,but people have a look then pass me by.

When you say response do you mean that people from far away are viewing your profile and not getting in touch or are you talking about responses to messages you send?

If it's the former I don't see the issue as they have to look at your profile to see where you are.

If it's the latter why are you messaging people so far away?
