Been listening to jimmi Hendrix on my iPod today, love his music, very talented man that died way too young

Does anyone have a fave old rocker/ rockers that they enjoy listening to?

Theres a great Jimi Hendrix cover band that comes to a local bar near me. Now you know he's gotta be good to cover Jimi, but he sounds like him, looks like him & even sets his Strat on fire at the end

Hell yeah!

If you like The Doors though, check out The Doors Alive if you haven't seen them. Fantastic cover band, although the Jim Morrison was trying to chat my mate up and she wasn't very happy about it. His Scottish accent ruined it for her

One of the best tribute band I saw was the rolling clones, no prizes for guessing they were a tribute to, lol

My dad jammed with Hendrix after a gig at the Demonfort Hall, he has some pictures, a pick and his autograph.

Nearly all the music I listen to is either classic rock or blues. Rory Gallagher, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Van Halen etc

Me and some friends have just put a Gary Moore tribute band together and are performing the entire set that he played at Montreux 2010 (his last recorded performance) later this month.
