Should you have a connection when meeting someone ?

I don’t mean club meets as in one offs!

See I used to think I should but I’ve been used a lot recently so I’m thinking not to get too connected anymore

Nah I've met plenty of people with zero connection. If it's leaving you feeling empty and used though, maybe try a different approach. Empty, used and regretful isn't a good state of being x

We always want some kind of connection, even if it's a one-off, there may be a whole theme park of single guys in a club and one of them stands out. Maybe they are funny, maybe they are a giant, maybe literally anything else but if someone causes us to spark then we'll do something about it - familiarity doesn't breed attraction, there are people we have met dozens of times and no closer to any kind of play

I don't do one offs. If I did ask that would matter would be chemistry. I do fwbs and for those connection and similar interests are paramount. I have to be able to talk to them as well as want to be fucked

There's levels of connection, i don't and never will get emotionally involved.

To me anyone i meet it is just sex. This isn't to say I'm not extremely picky and I do talk to them loads beforehand, I just keep a certain amount back. Well quite a lot back. It's still a connection, just one I can easily walk away from.
