Off to see the Chief today at the Bingley Festival and been listening to his solo stuff alot recently. Damn, I may be starting to think I prefer it than the Oasis tracks.

Which are your favourite Noel HFB or Oasis tracks? Over to you......

I'll start with with a new one that's going to become as big as any he's done.

Again, apparently, not many like him here, but that was a spectacular gig...

My Mrs likes his new work and I think it is ok. Oasis was like listening to someone scratching their nails down a blackboard to me because of Liam's flat, moaning singing. Awful band Oasis.

Would like him to do gigs of only his solo stuff. Does anyone really need to hear Wonderwall for the billionth time?

Solihull and Brentwood

Nothing better imho, than the raw snarl, of Liam and Oasis.

Noel and THFB, sound too nice if that makes sense.

Ballad of the Mighty I is a go to tune when I'm on a stroll. The new stuff is much more introspective. But that's no bad thing. Of his new set, bringing back Going Nowhere has been appreciated.

His gigs would be absolutely dead then. The crowd only pop when he does an oasis number.

Have seen all incarnations

Oasis - in their early days in Manchester

Oasis - in their pomp

Noel - HFB a few times

Liam - Solo

Like all for different reasons.

Was not keen on seeing Liam so had never bothered. Then he was a late sub for the Friday at the Isle of Wight (The first one after the pandemic). He blew me away not only doing the oasis numbers but also his solo stuff.

TBH most music is better live hence my fascination with gigs.

I’ll watch any come across from a band doing covers in a pub, tribute bands doing the rounds to the big festivals. I’m not a lover of the O2 or similar large indoor arenas as they seem flat to me.

Getting floor tickets if available is almost impossible and they aren’t like the old G-Mex gigs in Manchester where everyone was packed in and you could move from the seats to the floor.

Festivals have it all from the big main stage to the smaller pub like stages.
