With great difficulty. It takes me some courage plus a leap of faith. But also the reassurance from the other person I'm meeting can be quite humbling. I have Alopecia... and I tend to proceed with caution when it comes to arranging meets.

I got to a point in my life where i realised that just because I hate my body, doesn't mean others will. I don't have to understand it or question it. I can just give myself the permission to enjoy it.

I just go for it.What is the worst that can happen? No? Just walk then no harm no foul.

I look at it as “they’ve seen what my body looks like, they still want to meet so they’re fine with it”.

Basically justify it

This is exactly it! I may have doubts about myself but that shouldn't take away how another person views me. To refute their opinion is quite rude if you think about it as they are offering their view which may be different to mine but none the less valid. If someone wants to meet it's because they like what they see and know of a person

With some difficulty. I can only be me and I'm not terribly body confident for a number of reasons. If they like me then great, if not then we just have to move on. I have made quite a few friends from here who clearly see something in me that I don't.

On a separate note, can I just say that I thought you looked lovely and I liked your profile, especially the mention of soft play. I would message you, but I lack the confidence. See, it gets us all

You're completely focused on what you think about your body, not what your potential meet is thinking about it!!

I had a look at your profile & I think you look great - at some point, you must have felt ok enough about your body to add your pics!

Maybe think back to your mindset when you had those great photos taken.

We're all way too critical of ourselves & you have to remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder- if someone has chosen to meet you, it's because they're physically attracted!

This comes from a place of love from someone who's overweight & had lots of skin removal surgeries... get over yaself & flaunt it!!! You'll feel amazing when you stop worrying about it!! x

Go to a naturist beach and observe the multitude of different body types. You quickly realise that you're ok.

When we first started on here i was so body conscious. Im at that inbetween stage where app im not big enough to take the title bbw but not small enough to be curvy but im deffo at that stage where you can see i like cake.

Now i dont actually care. We have no hang ups with others bodies so i try not to have any with mine anymore.

Im chubby and im ok with that.

It takes time to appreciate what you have...others are either gonna love it or not.

You could rip yourself to pieces trying to figure out other peoples intentions and thoughts.

Everyone has confidence issues regardless of how you view them.

You could have a body to die for in someone elses eyes but a personality that no one likes! I know which I would prefer.

You have to separate attractive

from sexy.

Do I think I am pretty? No

Attractive? No

Winning any beauty contests any time soon? No

What I do know is that I am sexy.

So I lead with my sexy attitude, rather than my appearance and end up feeling so confident in my skin.

Please be kind to yourself and lead with your sexy!

Get to know the person before meeting thrm, I know a lot of people don't like lots of back and forth messages. It helped me relax with the person, to be able to meet them.

Just remember that probably everyone in life would change something about themselves, if they could.

Its hard to change that mindset and feel confident, but I think that's what this world is helpful with.

Sounds tough, but the more you meet, the easier it gets

If people like me mutually, it's the same as meeting anyone else. Some challenges need to be faced head-on, even with some discomfort, otherwise we're just growing an issue, not progressing from it

We go in knowing our looks and body shapes aren't for everyone and that's OK. We try to portray our bodies as good as we can through pictures and videos whilst still trying to feel sexy so there are no surprises when we meet.

I’m very confident with my clothes on but once I’m in an intimate setting and sex is about to commence I’m quite shy I’ve always been a bigger girl so I’m conscious of my wobbly bits
