*Nerd/geek alert!!!!!!

I’ve switched on my Pokémon go, thought I’d be loading up my old game, and sadly I’ve had to start over.

I can’t ever remember catching a shiny or a lucky Pokémon. How hard are they to find? And who else is still playing this after the crazy FAD when it came out?

And which is your favourite buddy?

Got bored of it, not played in ages as they kept changing stuff and went very microtransactiony.

Did manage to catch a few shinies though.

Also got the gotcha evolve in a drawer somewhere. That's caught a few shinies for me in the past.

Oh I'm so easily distracted.

I had it before it was officially released in the UK and played it religiously the first couple of years. Every so often Facebook memories tosses up a picture of groups of 30 or so of us in stupid locations at stupid o'clock in the morning because something rare had spawned and everyone would bundle into strangers cars to go get them.

I had a shiny or two I think. But I was more interested in hoarding stupid things like milotic and octillery and magikarp I'd never allow to evolve into something useful.

Even playing the games in other platforms I rarely evolved mine. I’d always preferred to try and catch an already evolve one.
