Somewhere In The Ether…

A new scientific study has revealed that up to a third of us are apparently filthy buggers with unwashed hands.

Yay verily, I shit you not.

A third of those tested/swabbed were found to have dirt and hair on their hands whilst 1 in ten had saliva on their mitts present.

But it gets much better…..

1 in 50 were found to have sperm on their hands(!!!!)

Good folks: Have you washed your hands recently?

I wash my hands often and always if they look or feel dirty. But also I kind of assume that living with two huge hairy dogs that there will always be some amount of dirt and hair on them.

I mean, I don't wash my hands or use cleaning wipes on them everytime I touch something.

The more public of an area I've been the more likely I will.

I'll clean them multiple times a day, not including when I go in to the toilets.

I doubt the majority of people will even think about it unless they assume what they touched to be particularly filthy.

The downside to too much cleanliness is that it can cause an unprepared immune system.

Obviously don't go swimming in shit. But exposure to some helps. (I don't mean shit directly!)

And it's the things like the stuff in the bakery exposed to everyone to touch and sadly they do even though when the tongs are there. I hardly get anything these days unless it is right at the back. Even M&S do some great artisan bread I really like but the loaves are just exposed to everyone touching them, and have sern them doing it to pick the one they like. People can be disgusting like that sadly. As for washing hands or using antiseptic gel, I know I perhsps overdo it but prefer it. Never eat those crisps and nuts in the bowls in bars either.

Haha I wouldn’t go as far as having spit and semen on my hands but dirt is a given working with hands it’s are to get the dirt out the cracks even with a scrubbing brush only after a few days off work and repeated scrubbing do they come completey clean and every day bait is eaten with muck and cement on hands never did me any harm
