This is going to make some of you feel old...

I would beg my mum to wake me up at 6am so I could watch Care Bears live on TV at 6.30am. Back then, there was no Internet or recording devices. It was those blink or miss it days.

Vintage care bears were the best teddies. I'm sad they've ruined it with a updated look. Good luck bear doesn't have a wink.

What was yours?

I remember being really annoyed once that my favourite - Dogtanion and the 3 Musketeers - wasn’t on one morning because the Zeebrugge ferry had sunk

We are obviously from a similar era - weekend kids TV was 6-9am on a Saturday (something about number 73 rings a bell?), during the week it finished at 4:55 before the 5pm news then Neighbours!

Used to love wacky races

Can't believe no ones mentioned tom and jerry yet.

I stopped wanting to get up early on school days fairly early on but weekends were a different story.

Anyone remember milkshake on ch5 when ch5 came on early days? Can't even remember what kind of stuff they showed, just seem to remember the title. My brother was more interested in cartoons than me in the end.

I remember being chuffed to bits when my dad got sky and the crystal maze re runs were on challenge, while the others would much rather watch cartoon network with dexters lab or rugrats, etc

Agree with most of above. I guess it changed as you got older.

I bought the dungeons and dragons box set as an adult to actually go through it in order. Jayce and the wheeled warriors, lost city of gold, transformers original, he-man.

Then as going into late teens I liked most of the cartoon network offerings and still into dragonball now.

Did anyone mention Mask?
