How many of us talk a good night out, whatever that may be, but in reality prefer a night in, feet up and a cuppa?

Maybe it’s my age

I don’t mind going out but when it gets to 9/10 o’clock I want to go home.

I get what I call a GPS kebab. Seems to guide me home every time

Carlisle usually

Sometimes I like a night out, sometimes I like a night in. Drinking to excess doesn't bring me any joy though.

Depends on what for. As I don't drink, no interest in going out watching a group get d*unk. But I would make the effort for a good pub quiz.

couple, us we him her.

I'm a homebody and get massive social anxiety so prefer a good film and snuggly in bed.

Mrs is completely the opposite and love's socialising.

Very rarely do i drink anymore so my social battery dies pretty quickly when I’m surrounded by d*unk people. I sit quiet until someone suggests going home, them I’m like eh yesssss

I’m more of a late afternoon / early evening person.

I love the idea of a night out. It usually gets planned weeks in advance and about 2 hours before my taxi gets here I’m wishing I was staying home. I always have a good night though.

You whipper-snapper, you've got to give it a few years before the sofa becomes more attractive than anything else.

Narnia

The nights I say I am just going to have a few drinks and come home end up like Dante’s decent and those when I am prepared to go huge rarely end up like that.

Role the dice but 95% of the time it depends on the company you keep on the night.

But siting at home with a nice glass of wine and seeing where it ends up sounds like a perfect night.

Every now and then I like a proper night out. Not planned or anything. When a few casual drinks turns into a wild all nighter.

I'm talking like two or three times a year. Not every weekend. Most weekends I'm in bed by midnight.

When I was younger the ratio was about 5 to 2. Now it's about 2 to 28.

I love staying in and secretly love it when plans fall through, but when I do eventually go out out I’m usually the last one standing and never want to go home

I love being out out and dancing round my handbag until 3am. I can happily do it without drink and make sure we all get home safely too

I have too many nights in. I'm becoming quite fond of a night out in my old age.

I'm out every weekend, it's my time to have fun, weekdays are for nights in, after adulting and responsibilities, with full time work and child care, pulling 16 hour days. So weekends are for fun. I'm a wanderer and chucking the bag in the car and taking off, is perfection
