Fear of the one off

Swinging site blah blah, don't get attached blah blah blah, no strings blah blah, no drama blah blah, no relationships allowed blah blah blah. I know all the spiel about why most people join fab and what they want.

My musings are concerning wether anyone else struggles with one off meets? Other people just seem to be able to meet, fuck and move on. Effortless and gracefully done. How do you do it? Is it a mind set or due to circumstances? Does fab become smoother when you can just connect, coitus and cut a run.

Give me your thoughts i have pennies….

I prefer regular meets. You become friends so can have a laugh, plus the sex gets better as you find out what you both like. It’s easier to try things out with someone you trust a bit too.

I know people who just like last minute one off meets. It's not my scene, but them doing things their way doesn't affect me.

I prefer to make friends and relationships. And that's okay too

As long as the person is straight up from the get go I can detach myself from it and say to myself it is what it is they use me I use them type thing

It’s the bs I can’t do with people saying they want more want to push in to kinks and trust to be built then hump and ghost not cool

Look if they want a bang just say I have needs as well so off corse if I like them they get to bang

But that’s just me everyone is different in that respect do what works for you op there is no right and wrong

I’ve had one off’s but they’re not really for me. I’m shy so it takes a few meets for my inner slutbag to make a full appearance as I like to get a feel for someone first.

I’ve done one offs but they are not my preference. I prefer to make friends who I can have sex with, that way it makes for a more memorable experience I have found.

ONS are definitely not for us

We would rather not meet than meet someone once

We have declined taking interest forward when the other person is wanting a one off arrangement. Affection is important to us too so if kisses and cuddles are off the table we withdraw.

Ome offs can be great. It's just using each others hot bodies at the end of the day.

Friends can also work. It really depends on your emotional state but I can see sex as just a really hot act personally

OP I do prefer regular meets because the sex always gets better when you know someone and what makes them tick but, regular or one off, this _isn’t_ a dating site and you don’t need to know everyone’s full life story.

That said - I have met some very good people on here and you do get to know them well over time.

I’ve had one off’s and wouldn’t rule out more if the opportunity presented itself but I’m looking for a regular play mate, someone to enjoy swing and kink clubs with, really explore the whole scene…..who knows, through a potential one off encounter, there could be a whole other world of possibilities - is there enough magic in the moonlight to enable this?

I don't fear a one off. They can be exciting but in general I tend to chat people and meet socially first. Therefore if its a one off it ends there because one or both of us don't want it to go further.

I've met people over the years who after the social all has been great but then the 2nd meet wasn't to be repeated. It was a fun experience.

I've never got any expectations other than a nice time whenever I meet someone. It's served me well.

I enjoy seeing people more than that though and developing a friendship as well as the other stuff. I like romance and dating and I do see this as an extention of that without the difficulties of a relationship. There's always a chance of feelings and always a risk but somethings are worth it.

Most of my meets have been one offs for oral, with the odd repeat.

Would prefer longer and regular not connected with someone for that yet. Lots of chat and plans but then they disappear

In terms of one on one meets I have had one offs in clubs. They are fine but I prefer the prospect of repeat meets to get to know the person, talk, laugh, learn their body etc.

Of course there is no guarantee that things will be repeated and I think I will be ok with that too.

I just don't really invest much in people until I've met them 2 or 3 times, I have no control over anyone coming back, so if it does turn out to be a one off I can draw a line and move on... I keep communication to a minimum unless it develops into more of fwb situation.
