Where would you move it?

Would you let your partner pick your new home without you seeing it?

(I'm watching Escape to the country lol )

Manchester-ish

There are a few different places I've loved visiting but I don't know if I'd want to live there. But then I suppose I could pick it up and come back again!

I first read the next bit as would you let your partner see you pick up your house

But yes, I would let him choose without me seeing it.

Leeds

I love where I live it's lush, countryside on the doorstep but only half an hour to 3 good cities, I'd maybe just move it to a field nearby so I could be in the garden naked

.

Aberdeenshire. Or the Amalfi coast. I'd probably sell it though and buy somewhere that, you know, actually looks like it belongs in the area.

Would I let my fiancé choose?

Fuck no. I love him to bits but he'd probably go for something modern, sleek, the douchey soulless monstrosities you see with weird architecture and all the modern trappings of environmentally friendly. I'd be more than happy with a very old cottage.

No I wouldn’t pick it up and move it

I would just buy a bigger better newer house in Hadley wood as my house 1st isn’t nearly big enough or the slightest fraction grand enough for Hadley wood

Or a lovely beach villa in the Maldives

I don’t think my 3 story townhouse would look right on stilts with crystal clear sea lapping underneath somehow

Nowhere. I absolutely love where I live. I'm on the edge of an AONB. My house is in an absolutely beautiful area with amazing panoramic views out of every window. My nearest neighbours are across a few fields and it's a low crime area.

I used to live in Hadley Wood - just up the road from the Hadley pub, which was ideal for last orders - I was renting with students (not that wealthy).

I would not move from the Barnet area at the mo - been here for nearly 40 years, and I would certainly not let a partner choose a house without me seeing it (actually, if that happened I would buy a van and live in it!)
