Since coming back I have had a few dates. Rather enjoying the vanillaness of it and holding out till the third date x

2016 she was lovely very nice we went bowling and some drinks and talk after

Hart just wasn’t in it didn’t want to put her off dateing so stared talking about my dead grandparent who died the year before she sed she need the toilet she came back from the toilet with a story about how her sister had called and need a babysitter I smiled new she wasn’t being truthful but didn’t want to put her off dateing or anything just because my hart belongs to someone else she ran me back to the train station and told me to text her when home safe

I did never got a text back it was ok though hopefully she found someone as she was wonderful

Dates scare me tbh , you know after 10 seconds if things are going to go anywhere, l feel you can never relax ..just be yourself .. comfortable..etc on dates ,I think you always self doubt yourself as regards appearance wether it's clothes , self conscious of how you feel or look , car you drive, I think so much ..I won't say over thinking ...but on a date rejection is something that mightened be too far away either , and l think rejection is something you have to be cut out for if it happens cause if not it can hurt ..so tbh dates scare the f**k outta me .. couldn't tell you the last time l was on a date but that's just my tuppence worth , of course l know there's people out there that thrive on dates ...they love going on them.

I've had more dates that felt like dates over the last few months than I ever have. And they have been a fab person. It's been lovely actually.

Fab people don't all just fuck like rabbits or drink coffee hurriedly to get to the nearest travelodge.

Some of us actually like cocktails, chatting, flirting, the odd PDA and kisses at the end of the night that leave you wanting more.

I think it's a shame that so many people think that you have to skip any romance and seduction.

I'm not talking hearts and flowers but time, affection, and care are lovely things.

I used to have a Date friend for romantic hortor movie nights as neither of our partners liked horror movied . Movie popcorn, snog and then she would go home to her bf and I would go home go my wife. Both of us were poly. Was nice to pretend we were together lol
