Having watched the great abortion divide about the differences from the united kingdom and northen ireland regarding abortion, do people think its fair that women in northen ireland are refused an abortion even if they are a victim of rape?

What are peoples thoughts?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I didn't see the Panorama programme but I have never thought it right that women in NI have to travel here for an abortion.

I personally think its wrong that northen irish women are being denied the right of being in control of their bodies

It's still true of lots of parts of the world. It's a constant debate in America with those wanting to make abortion illegal. American overseas aid cannot be used for abortion, even when it is medically advised or after rape. There have been reports that aid from this and other countries ends up having to follow the American rules in order not to lose the American aid money.
