My apologies in advance if this upsets anyone. I just genuinely would like to know what you may have done with the ashes of a very much loved pet. I know people bury them or scatter somewhere but also have some friends that have kept the ashes of their beloved dog for over 30 years now.

Ours are in a small urn on a shelf with a picture of him, and a small figurine.

Our dog's ashes are in a wooden casket on our dresser. It's nice to feel that she's at home and I can give her a little stroke when I walk past.

I thought this was going to be about lock down guy but nope

If your wondering a message got set about during lockdown form a guy his friend had died and his last wish was to have his ashes sown on to woman’s knickers I kind you not think a good lot off formites received the message

We scattered Rosie dog's on her favourite walk. When we got in the car afterwards, the first song to come on the radio was Whole Lotta Rosie

My dexter died 6 weeks ago now! He died peacefully at home so I buried him! But had I had him cremated I would have scattered them in same area I buried him! I've never been one to visit cemetery where family members are! But having him here in my garden is comforting ! My ex partners ashes are in a pot down the bottom of garden with his fav plant on top (a fushia) x

Our cat's ashes are in a wooden urn that looks like a curled up sleeping cat. He lives on the fire hearth

Obviously very important to you to have your loved ones nearby and have the comfort you need. Tbh, will ptobably do the same with my dog's ashes but still exploring one or two other options. He was very special to me and missing him every day

Same ,except it's a lovely wooden casket.I even have a bit of her hair that the vets snipped off for us too.

I planned to scatter his ashes at a viewing point we always stopped at on his favourite walk…….I got overruled and he’s in a wooden casket. Still not sure how I feel about that….

Do whatever YOU feel is right to do with them. Make them into a keepsake, scatter them, bury them, keep them in the box? Entirely up to you

All our pets are buried in the garden of the house we lived in at the time. We haven't had any cremated.

My ex still has the ashes from The family dog it's in a walnut box on the mantle I left 20 odd yrs ago one thing she wanted me id have scattered then.

Thanks everyone. It is a difficult decision but will probably bury in the garden or his favourite place we used to go. The latter might be better as will have access to anytime unlike the garden if I ever move.
